Holy crap, it's been over a year! I suppose that was to be expected since I was totally swamped trying to finish graduate school. I haven't even totally finished, though all I have to do now is pass copies of my thesis back and forth with my advisors until they say I can graduate.

Anyway, life is very different for me now -- I got married and I'm looking for a job rather than fiddling with my graduate research. I also have a ton of great pictures (out of thousands of just okay pictures) so there'll be many new updates in the next few weeks.
