Holy crap, it's been over a year!  I suppose that was to be expected since I was totally swamped trying to finish graduate school.  I haven't even totally finished, though all I have to do now is pass copies of my thesis back and forth with my advisors until they say I can graduate. Anyway, life is very different for me now -- I got married and I'm looking for a job rather than fiddling with my graduate research.  I also have a ton of great pictures (out of thousands of just okay pictures) so there'll be many new updates in the next few weeks.

Well, it's been since October, so I figure I owe SOMEBODY an update.  Actually *jessainthebox http://jessainthebox.deviantart.com/ let me know that she was posting, and I figured I'd try to put up some of my best stuff. I've been working in B&W a lot more these days mostly because I'm "working" as our university's newspaper photography editor.  It's a lot less than it sounds -- I don't really make decisions about what pictures get published.  But I do get assignments which gets me out taking shots I'd never consider otherwise.  I'm trying to do more sports with my film camera, but we'll see how much time I have for that sort of thing.

Well, I've been working on my photography, but I haven't been submitting.  First off, I'm in grad school, and it's really hard.  Not only has my workload been reduced to nearly zero, but I don't have time to ARCHIVE the photo's I've got, much less prepare, select, and present them on DeviantART! However, I'm entering a competition in a few days, and along with some of my older works, I've got some new gems.  I hope to be submitting them as I get high-quality prints for the competition.
